Registered Social Worker
MSW, RSW
Works with children, teens, adults, and families
I am a Registered Social Worker with over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through trauma, mental health challenges, and complex life experiences. Many of the people I work with are carrying the long-term effects of difficult experiences while trying to manage daily life, relationships, responsibilities, and emotional overwhelm on the surface.
I am an accomplished social worker with 30 years of experience in assessment and counselling for families and children following trauma. I have supported families adapting to challenging diagnoses such as traumatic brain injuries, mental challenges, and physical and developmental disabilities. I am skilled in assessing risk factors in families and children and assessing overall functioning and safety, using a strength-based, family systems model.
You do not have to navigate that alone. Therapy can become a space where experiences begin to make more sense, patterns become clearer, and healing feels more possible and sustainable over time.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move beyond symptom management toward deeper and more lasting healing. I primarily integrate EMDR therapy and parts work approaches to help individuals process traumatic experiences, better understand protective patterns, and reconnect with themselves in a safer and more grounded way. I believe many struggles make sense in the context of what someone has been through, and meaningful change often comes from addressing the root of the pain rather than only the surface symptoms.
I am passionate about helping people regain a sense of stability, confidence, and direction in their lives. Alongside therapy, I also support clients with practical advocacy, system navigation, and clinical assessment support when needed. My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that helps clients feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout the healing process.
